Giants Software decided to use its podcast format to recap announcements that followed the release of the trailer : release date, platforms, new cultures, collector's edition ...
We had already done it a few days ago and many of you are also have read our recap on FS 22 and the latest announcements. Lars and Chaki, the two community managers, unfortunately didn't teach us anything new. Obviously, Giants Software seems to have received a multitude of questions regarding the trailer, brands, etc.
Lars, on several occasions, strongly insisted: the trailer is a video in synthetic image! This is not the game. The brands in the video will be present in FS 22, but don't imagine crazy things like the possibility of having a child character. "The daughter of the video, who accompanies her father, is of age" (and, it is topical, vaccinated we hope) laughs Lars and Chaki.
The collector's edition of FS 22 will be "really collector"
Another point on which Lars returned: the collector's edition of Farming Simulator 22. Unlike FS 19, this edition will actually be very limited in number of copies. So don't hesitate too long before hitting the " Buy now". As a reminder, the box of this version includes an interactive USB flashing light that coordinates with the tractor gyro in play.
Questions for the Farmcon? It's time
Giants Software is relaunching the invitation, and as ambassador for France, we are relaying it. Better, we suggest that you post your questions directly in the comments of this article (We are moderating the comments, so no need to go out of your way if you don't see yours appearing). Here are the 2 rules imposed by Giants for asking your questions:
- No question "Will the XXXXX brand be in the game?" »(I will delete the question)
- No question "Why are you suckers?" »(… No more… no…)
During the Farmcon stream (in German), Giants will give you an answer. We will translate into French in a summary file at the end of the event which lasts 3 days.
Hello, quick question out of curiosity, will there be a category on FS 22 in the used equipment store?
Hello,
I don't know if the answer has already been given, or if the question has already been asked,
So in terms of lifespan, how will FS22 be managed? The game will last 2 years, 3 years, even 5 years why not, or the game will be a good solid base and will be improved with updates (graphics, performance, HUD, settings) and DLCs (gameplay, maps, materials, culture ) like a lot of games do today, I'm thinking of SCS Software with ATS and ETS2, also of World of Tanks which was released in 2010 and which is not at all the same game today only thanks to big updates who improved the graphics, gameplay, added new tanks and maps, features etc...
FS19 was certainly extended by 1 year, but despite everything, 3 years goes by quickly when you think about it and FS17 is not that old in the end, so buying another new game 2 years after FS22? No. It would be nice if the FS22 lasted longer.
Thank you Best regards.
Hello,
I also have a quick question haha. I would like to know if on fs22 on console.
Will it be possible to rent servers (for example: nitrado) to play multiplayer?
Renting servers on console is possible, for example: you can rent servers for the game ark on ps4. I was just wondering if we can for fs22?
Kind regards, Antoine
Hello, was flax growing a possibility for fs22 if not why?
So I have 2 questions, the first is whether crossplay will definitely be there or it's not sure and the second is whether you are considering a collector's edition for console? Thank you for your reply
Hello, quick question regarding wood. With the addition of factories, could wood be used for anything new?
Right now we can make chips from it, sell it to the sawmill, but could it be used to renovate our farmhouse by transforming it into boards or something else?
Thank you in advance !
A fan of FS
I wanted to know if with the vine, we will have all the equipment that goes with it? (Mower, weeding sprayer? 2-wheel or 4-wheel drive wine tractors? Vineyard plows, pruning shears?…) and if production will also be targeted at wine? With pneumatic plate presses?… the vats the pumps? The scraper? The barrels?…. Early oenological equipment? Also.
Thank you.
Hello,
This question may have already been asked a thousand times, I don't know, I'm on Series X, and the only thing that will make me buy the game or not is a big improvement in the slot point limit.
So my question is how many points will we have on fs22, and especially if we have more, the hardware is not more hungry for points than fs19...
Thank you
Hello Oli,
I'm currently playing on PS4 and I'm suffering from exactly the same problem as you (like all console users I imagine) and I find your question very relevant. Already everything that is "scripts" we cannot have on console, if they (Sony and Microsoft) restrict us on the number of slots it starts to become very complicated. I hope your question will be accepted.
Hello, in terms of graphics resources, is fs22 much more demanding than fs19?
Classes available every day from Nine AM to Twelve midday.
Quick question on new consoles will we have realistic rotating lights?
