Competitive Multiplayer: Where Does Project Motor Racing Stand Against the Competition?

On the occasion of the Tokyo Game Show 2025, Project Motor Racing (PMR) has lifted the veil on its multiplayer ecosystem designed for purists. Developed by Straight4 Studios and published by GIANTS Software, the title stands out by promising a complete experience without subscription, without paid server, and without limitations since the first day.

An online mode designed for competition

Ian Bell (CEO of Straight4) insists: “No passes. No rentals. No subscriptions »The objective is clear: to offer a direct and transparent competition, focused on driving and not on economic barriers.

Among the confirmed features:

  • Monthly Cross-Play Championships : planned races with weekly rotation of circuits.
  • Ranked Matchmaking System : a License Test at Lime Rock Park defines the initial level, followed by a Driver Rating (0-100 per class) to ensure balanced grids.
  • Thematic Leaderboards :
    • Factory Driver Challenges to chase the times of real drivers.
    • Endurance Hall Events inspired by major endurance races.
  • Personalized lobbies : total freedom to create your own events at no cost.
  • Social races : quick 15-minute sessions for fun or training.

The circuit of Sebring International Raceway also joins the roster, strengthening the historical and technical dimension of the game.
