Exclusive: Giants Software adopts a new method for validating mods

A bolt from the blue in the modding world! Since the release of Farming Simulator 25, many modders have been growing impatient with their creations stuck in the "Pending" stage on ModHub... and this has been the case for several months.

We investigated and discovered the reasons for this historically slow pace. According to an anonymous source within Giants Software, the studio has decided to abandon computerized testing in favor of a method that is both more natural and... medieval.

A revolutionary validation process

Now, each mod is printed on parchment and given to a team of content validation experts: a group of turtles trained to sort mods based on well-defined criteria.

"We wanted a more reliable and environmentally friendly system," explains a Giants spokesperson. "So we recruited 42 turtles, each specializing in a specific category: tractor mods, maps, farm implements, etc." A turtle dedicated to John Deere mods has even been secretly hired, but has so far refused to work on Case IH mods.

A validation period perfectly adapted to agriculture

With this innovative system, Giants ensures players have a validation process that's perfectly aligned with the agricultural crop cycle. "We estimate that each mod can be validated by the next harvest, or even the one after that..." adds our source. "This reinforces the immersion and realism of the game."

To speed up the process, Giants is considering hiring an additional team of carrier pigeons to deliver mods to players more quickly. A test phase is already underway, but initial results show that the pigeons are spending too much time pecking at ModHub icons instead of delivering mods.

Modders, be patient!

In the meantime, if you submitted a mod in January and it's still pending, don't panic! It should arrive for testing before the end of the final episode of your favorite series. Unless you're watching "Plus Belle la Vie."

To be continued… in a few years!
