Honeycomb Aeronautical expands its range with the Bravo Throttle Quadrant LITE, a simplified (but not inferior) version of its famous gas quadrant. Stated objective: make flight simulation more accessible, both for new virtual pilots and for those who wish to focus on the essentials, without sacrificing build quality.
Less complexity, same DNA as the classic Bravo
With this LITE version, Honeycomb has chosen to remove commands deemed secondary, retaining only the functions actually used in flightThe mechanical feel, axle resistance, clicks (detents) and material quality remain identical to the standard Bravo Throttle Quadrant.
An approach designed to reduce the mental load for novice pilots, but also to appeal to experienced users who prefer a cleaner cockpit.
The essential orders are still there
Contrary to what the name "LITE" might suggest, the equipment remains very complete:
- 4 interchangeable leverswith adjustable tension
- Integrated trim wheelprecise and fluid
- Dedicated parking brake
- Landing gear lever with LED indicator
- Interchangeable shutter notch inserts, suitable for different types of devices
The quadrant comes with jet handlesIt supports thrust reversers, flaps, landing gear, and twin-engine configurations. This easily covers general aviation, turboprops, and airliners.
Designed for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020 and 2024
The Bravo Throttle Quadrant LITE is compatible with all major devices of Microsoft Flight SimulatorHoneycomb also plans to make available dedicated profiles for Flight Simulator 2024, which can be imported directly, in order to simplify the process.
For Flight Simulator 2020, a simplified button mapping system will be offered, ensuring quick setup regardless of the simulator version used.
A LITE range that is taking shape
This new quadrant is the second product in the LITE range, alongside theAlpha Flight Controls LITETogether, they constitute a coherent solution for those who wish to seriously equip themselves with flight simulation, without immediately switching to complex or expensive setups.
As Marc Küpper, CPO at Honeycomb Aeronautical, points out, this range aims to open up flight simulation to a wider audiencewhile respecting the quality standards that have made the brand's reputation.
Le Bravo Throttle Quadrant LITE is available with worldwide distribution via the official Honeycomb Aeronautical store at a price of €199.
