PXN Unveils VD Direct Drive Series: Next-Generation Force Feedback Bases for All Drivers

Manufacturer PXN, already known in the world of sim racing, is moving up a gear with its brand new range VD SeriesPresented as a complete and accessible solution, this series includes three Direct Drive bases (VD4, VD6 and VD10), all designed to offer peak performance, whatever the player's level.

Three bases for three pilot profiles

PXN focuses on a modular approach with products that cover all needs:

  • VD4 : ideal for beginners, this base delivers a constant torque of 4 Nm (5 Nm peak), enough to enjoy a realistic experience without breaking the bank.
  • VD6 : a notch above, the VD6 offers 6 Nm constant (7 Nm peak), enough to meet the expectations of intermediate simracers.
  • VD10 : the “pro” version of the range offers 10 Nm constant and up to 12 Nm peak, perfect for competitors looking for precision and power.

Each base integrates a low inertia multi-pole servo motor, guaranteeing total absence of notching et fluidity, even in long-distance running.

Technology at the service of realism

The VD series includes a 24-bit magnetic encoder offering more than 16 million points of resolutionThis level of precision allows the smallest movements of the steering wheel to be captured, for total immersion, from the gravel of a rally to the rumble strips of an F1 circuit.

Le lightweight rotor motor provides ultra-responsive force feedback, without latency or stuttering. In addition, the segmented stator eliminates torque ripple, for comfortable and controlled riding even over long sessions.

PXN adds its proprietary Sense+ algorithm, capable of transcribing the subtle behavior of a vehicle: loss of grip, slipping, ABS... everything is felt with striking realism.

A complete control software

Thanks to the PXN SimRacing Control Center, users can finely customize their experience:

  • Adjustment of force feedback, resistance or even response curves
  • Pre-configured profiles for the most popular games like Assetto Corsa ou iRacing
  • Clear and accessible interface so you don't waste time between two laps

The set is compatible Plug & play PC, without tedious configuration.

A design designed to last

The VD bases adopt a aluminum frame robust, equipped with a system smart cooling via thermal sensors. Everything is associated with a aluminum quick release system, with ball bearings, to switch from one steering wheel to another in seconds.

Launch imminent

PXN's VD series will be officially launched on 8th August 2025, with some pre-orders already open on the PXN official website.
