Astragon has just announced the release date of the Tram DLC for owners of Bus Simulator 21 who will be able to try a new type of driving from November 14 for a price of €19.99 (or included in the Season Pass) . At the same time, we must believe that the Still Alive development teams are confident in this new feature because they are announcing a complete game completely dedicated to Tram simulation which will be released at the end of the year: Tram Simulator Urban Transit.
The Tram extension for Bus Simulator 21 Next Stop
Regular Bus Sim 21 players could already see the appearance of rails on the ground on the American map of Angel Shores since the previous DLC but they will now be able to rejoice in being able to take control of the trams from November 14 in this new DLC at the price of €19.99 or automatically included in the Season Pass.
A new complete game dedicated to Tram simulation
The game will be called Tram Simulator Urban Transit and will be released later at the end of the year on a date not yet announced. It will be based on the same American Angel Shores map as the Bus game but will allow you to drive 6 trams on an even denser network as well as with more detailed interfaces and physics.
But the most important : the game will be automatically offered to all purchasers of the Tram DLC or Season Pass. For others, for example newcomers who are only interested in driving Trams, it will be available at the price of €19.99.
The game will allow you to take control of the trams with each time a different driving experience depending on the models, the subtleties of which you can learn at the driving school. You will also have to manage your transport company through several game modes: story, career and sandbox.
It will obviously be multiplayer and cross-platform between Steam and Epic, and for consoles it will be cross-generation (PS4 with PS5, Xbox Series X|S with Xbox One).
