This is a first for the title of the StillAlive studio, which has surrounded itself with external studios for the occasion: Bus Simulator is coming to iOs, Android, and Switch. This is a simplified version, entitled "City Ride", which takes place on a new unpublished map.
It's this fall that mobile gamers will be able to roam the streets of Havensburg, a realistic open city inspired by the cities of Northern Europe. With Bus Simulator City Ride , you will be able to drive buses by being yourself, really, in a bus… by going to school or to your place of work, telephone in hand. The map promises to offer a good variety of landscapes, with recognizable neighborhoods as is the case in the PC versions of Bus Simulator.
The objective of the game is of course to drive but also to manage the business and plan routes to meet the needs of the city on its public transport network. Completing story mode missions will unlock more new accessible neighborhoods for your future routes. It is at the wheel of a dozen electric buses, articulated or double-decker, under licence, such as Alexander Dennis, Setra or IVECO, that you will survey the streets of Havensburg.
For the moment, the game trailer does not suggest any gameplay phase and we have to be satisfied with some rather nice screenshots for a mobile version, but which contrast radically with the graphic quality of Bus Simulator 21 on PC. Let's wait and see how the game performs on the powerful gaming platforms that are Nintendo Switch and iPhone.
