Car Mechanic Simulator 2021, a car mechanic simulation game, has just got a new DLC titled Drag Racing. This DLC brings new content and introduces something completely new to the world of Car Mechanic Simulator.
The DLC features parallel racing challenges against the AI in multiple game modes: Practice, Quick Race, Race, and Championships. All this over four distances: 1/8, 1/4, 1/2 and 1 mile. Each car now has an index called "Drag Rating" which assigns it to a particular racing category. Note that any change in a car's tuning requires testing it on the Dyno to calculate the new index.
With this DLC, the developers are also introducing the manual transmission. In drag racing, it is mandatory to use a manual transmission. On the other tracks, you can choose between automatic and manual transmission. To make your car even faster, the game expands engine tuning possibilities: ECU tuning and carburetor tuning. After each race, detailed statistics of drag times are presented, along with general data like times from 0 to 60, from 0 to 100, etc.
