Construction Simulator announced for September 20

Release planned for PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One & Xbox Series X|S

After more than 7 years of absence since the last Construction Simulator 2015, this simulation putting you in the shoes of a public works contractor will return to our screens at the start of the school year with the promise of even greater content and two maps. The game will be playable solo or in co-op up to 4 players, like its predecessor.

Update July 27: A second trailer showing gameplay elements

Less than 2 months from its launch, Astragon continues to reveal a little more with this new trailer which, in addition to presenting the most representative vehicles of each brand, gives us more details on the gameplay elements.

What we noticed after watching:

  • The sounds and the management of the different types of fill (earth, bitumen, gravel) seem to have benefited from the greatest care
  • The day/night cycle will be an opportunity to use the lighting of equipment and vehicles
  • Mirrors will be active in interior view
  •  Some missions (road renovation) will be an opportunity to synchronize several vehicles with each other (a dumpster following the bitumen milling machine

A trailer that makes you want to know more

Astragon released a trailer yesterday that illustrates some of the new construction contracts you'll have to complete on two large maps inspired by the landscapes of the United States and Germany. More than 70 machines will be controllable in no less than 90 different contracts. The game will be available for PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One & Xbox Series X|S from September 20.

Announced features

Two editions at launch

In addition to the standard edition, you will be entitled to the extended version which will contain a personalization kit for your characters as well as an exclusive vehicle and a small character to install on your (virtual) dashboard. For the moment only the price of the extended version is known 34.99 € on Steam for pre-order.

New licenses

There will be new machines or with an improved look for the licenses already present in the previous section: Atlas, BELL, Bobcat, Bomag, CASE, Caterpillar©, Kenworth, Liebherr, MAN, Mack Trucks, Meiller-Kipper, Palfinger, Still, and the Wirtgen Group

The new licenses will be: Benninghoven of the Wirtgen Group, Cifa, DAF, Doosan, Nooteboom, Scania, Schwing Stetter and Wacker Neuson. Your character will benefit from personal protective equipment licensed by Engelbert Strauss.
