Demolish & Build 3, a physics-based simulator in which you manage a construction and demolition business, will debut on PC and consoles in 2023. As the creators explain, it's a fresh start for the series. This new version should offer “a more advanced demolition system”. Demolish & Build 3 will arrive first on PC, then on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S and Nintendo Switch…
The trailer speaks for itself
Demolish Games SA is both the developer and publisher of Demolish & Build 3. In this future simulator which tries to be realistic in its physics, the player takes on the role of a leader of a demolition company. The gameplay focuses on transportation, demolition and construction work around different buildings, as well as managing and expanding your business, through hiring employees.
The developers provide a wide range of construction tools and vehicles, from the good old jackhammer to excavators and huge cranes. “It's a new start for the series. In Demolish & Build 3, the game is much better and much more detailed than previous titles”, assures Paweł Dywelski, CEO of Demolish Games SA
A point of honor was put on physics. Each shard is made up of materials with specific characteristics like resistance to damage. Individual objects are physically connected to each other, which means they will be subjected to realistic pressure forces. As a result, the structures will influence each other. In practice, this should result in fairly realistic demolitions, as seen in the teaser trailer as buildings collapse.
Demolish & Build 3 release date is originally set for 2023. The game will release first on PC (Steam), with versions for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S and Nintendo Switch coming later.
