Become a real paleontologist, explore various environments and search for dinosaur fossils. This is what the latest title from Pyramid Games offers.
Paleontology simulator
Dinosaur Fossil Hunter is a narrative simulator where you play as a paleontologist. You will have to explore different lands to carry out research and discover and then study fossils. Once the skeletons have been reconstituted, you can exhibit them in your own museum. The game is meant to be educational and you will learn a lot about the different creatures that roamed our Earth millions of years ago.
Exploration
Collecting fossils is not so easy. You will therefore be equipped with a georadar to search for clues and discover the remains of extinct species. Then you have to do the excavations. Chainsaw, shovel or pickaxe will allow you to roughen, but be careful, the bones can be very fragile. So you need to finish the job carefully to make sure nothing is damaged before the prehistoric skeleton is fully assembled.
Design your own museum
The game proposes to create a real diorama of prehistory. You can arrange your museum as you see fit, with decorations such as posters, plants, rocks, or different types of soil. This is the slightly fun side of the game, which leaves enough freedom to the players. For the rest, Dinosaur Fossil Hunter is a repetitive game, like Model Builder, WorkShop Simulator, or Car Mechanic Simulator.
The realization, entrusted to ▲ Pyramid Games, is correct, even if the developer had accustomed us to better with Rover Mechanic Simulator. The game is sold on Steam under the bar of 17 euros.
