Since the arrival of the Oculus Quest 2 and its resolution almost 4 times greater than that of a Rift DK 2, I have rediscovered FS 19 in virtual reality. There it is playable! The menus are finally readable and the nausea effect is no longer present as the helmet is responsive to head movements. You can stay 2 hours plowing a field without any problem.
So of course it is still not possible to use the Oculus controllers natively and I always recommend the use of a console pad which allows you to have all the controls easily at hand. The ideal is to play with the Saitek / Logitech steering wheel for Farming Simulator, and its large panel of buttons. You still need to know their locations by heart.
Farming Simulator 19 is not natively compatible with different VR headsets, I use VorpX (https://www.vorpx.com/) to have an optimal display. VorpX is not free, but allows you to launch any game from your PC to the headset, it's a safe bet.
Hi Bruno. I'm writing to you because I recently acquired a quest 2 and VorpX but I can't get it to work like that. I tried several settings but I either find myself in front of a fixed screen so it's impossible to look behind it, or I always have the same view even when I turn my head. When I launched Vorpx I even changed the game's key configuration. The interface is blurry in the Oculus like everything else around it. As if there was only the center of the lenses in focus. Vorpx is in English which doesn't make it too easy for me to make settings. Could you help me please. Thanking you. Kind regards
