Looking back, GIANTS Software, developer and publisher of Farming Simulator 22, is celebrating 30 successful months since the game's launch in November 2021. With six free updates, several packs and two expansions, the game has benefited from 25 notable additions.
An imposing number of Mods
Besides official updates, GIANTS Software has actively supported the modding community, by overseeing the official ModHub available on PC and consoles. Over 6.000 mods have been approved, reaching a record 1,6 billion downloads for Farming Simulator 22.
Important Milestones for the Series
Farming Simulator 22 introduced highlights like production lines, seasonal challenges, and a growing calendar for added realism. Cross-platform multiplayer support has united the community, enhancing the online experience for both cooperative and competitive modes, the latter of which is used in the Farming Simulator League Championships, the fifth season of which concludes in July.
A Premium edition
With six million copies sold, Farming Simulator 22 is the best-selling game in the series. The Premium Edition, including seven packs and two expansions, is the most economical option for newcomers. Thanks to free updates, packs and mods, Farming Simulator 22 offers great variety and remains an essential leader in the genre.
Farming Simulator 25 in the crosshairs
This recap sends a clear message: Farming Simulator 22 is at the end of its life and will soon give way to its successor, Farming Simulator 25, scheduled for November 2024 on PC, PS5, and Xbox Series, the CGI trailer of which should arrive in the coming days if we base ourselves on the communication schedule for Farming Simulator 22.
