Giants Software announces the arrival of Farming Simulator VR, a unique experience that immerses players in the heart of agriculture in virtual reality. Available for pre-order from January 30, 2025 at 19 p.m., the game will be officially released on 28st February 2025 on Meta quest.
This VR version offers more immersive gameplay than ever, with realistic interactions to maintain your equipment, cultivate your fields and manage your farm. The trailer reveals a typically American environment and a more detailed approach to agricultural work.
- Vehicle maintenance : Perform repairs and maintenance, remove wheels with a screwdriver or apply grease to tractor friction points.
- Agricultural work : Harvest vegetables in a greenhouse and sell them at the market using an interactive cash register.
- Material management : Clean your vehicles with a high-pressure cleaner, refuel by hand and take a seat in iconic agricultural machinery.
- Immersive driving : Manually start your machines, activate its controls in the cabin and use VR to monitor your tools by rotating your head freely.
- A redesigned store : Buy equipment from renowned brands (John Deere, Fendt, Case IH, Amazon, etc.) via a virtual reality touch interface.
Farming Simulator VR will be available exclusively on Meta Quest 2 and 3. Unlike previous opuses, it is based on the engine Unity rather than on the Giant's Engine, which limits some features. Additionally, the game will not support mods, marking a notable difference from traditional releases of the franchise.
