How deep will the production chains be?
Giants Software looks back on production chains. Obviously the community of players is very enthusiastic about these new possibilities of play. Nothing new however in the explanations of Chaki and Lars, and I invite you to reread this article which already takes stock of this gameplay extension. It is up to the player to decide on this "depth". You will not have to, in the wheat example, make flour, then sell it to the baker, then sell the bread to the supermarket. You will stop wherever you want. Moreover, the buildings necessary for these productions are to be placed by the player (mill, bakery, etc.)
Will there be different covers for the Collectors Edition?
Before starting, it should be noted that the Collector's version only exists for PC. Consoles players cannot obtain it. Regarding the covers, there will be different covers on the STANDARD edition (Case, Zetor, Fendt…) but NOT on the collector's version. The only difference will be the name “Farming Simulator” which becomes “Landwirtschaft Simulator” on the German version. Note also that this edition will be limited in number.

Parallax Occlusion Mapping
We had noticed it, and it had been the subject a brief on Univers-simu.com, the ground has indeed changed on FS 22. Giants confirm that they use the technique of Parallax Occlusion Mapping. This is a more advanced implementation of the displacement mapping. Concretely, a 3D object can be deformed at the level of these vertices according to a map. This is a real distortion and not an "illusion" as proposed by the use of normal maps.
The developers will certainly come back to this subject during Farmcon at the end of July. It is not said if we will be able to use Parallax Occlusion Mapping on vehicles and objects in order to improve existing 3Ds without remodeling them for example.
Where is the map of the United States located?
Elmcreek revealed himself not so long ago and already gamers want to know which region in the US has inspired Giants Software. Like the Alpine DLC and its mountainous map, the developers did not want to reproduce a specific region, to understand that you will not find the location of Elmcreek on Google Maps.
But overall, the future US map is inspired by American midwest which is a particularly large region.
As for the third map for FS 22 (the second is Erlengratt modified), it seems to be a French map! (Chaki refers to shift kiss. This is how the French kiss is nicknamed in Ireland ...)
