Focus Home Interactive, recently “separated” from Giants Software for the Farming Simulator edition, is not losing ground and announces the acquisition of Streum On studio, the Group's long-standing partner.
Focus announced in mid-April the acquisition of the majority of the shares comprising the capital of the company Streum On Studio paid in cash and in Focus Home Interactive shares. Streum On Studio, with a team of twenty talented collaborators, has been a specialist in shooting games since its creation in 2007 and owner of the EYE Divine Cybermancy license which immediately won over players from its launch. Led by its three founders and directors Jonathan Cacherat, Pierrick Le Nestour and Christophe Longuépée, Streum On has been a solid and historical partner of the Group since 2013.
The studio developed the iconic game Space Hulk: Deathwing for Focus Home Interactive, which has sold nearly a million copies. The studio is currently working on Necromunda: Hired Gun, an action game ported by one of the flagship licenses in the Warhammer 40.000 universe. The announcement of the game's release on June 1, 2021 generated a lot of enthusiasm among the press.
