Initiated by the developers of Turn 10 and supported by Microsoft, this update marks a major turning point for the racing simulation game, making the experience not only more stable but also richer in free content.
Stability and Bug Fixes
With over 200 bug fixes, Forza Motorsport version 1.5090.566.0 aims to improve the overall stability of the game on PC and Xbox. Fixes have been made to reduce crashes, providing a smoother and more enjoyable gaming experience. The Livery Editor has also been optimized, fixing issues such as incorrect display of colors and the ability to see and unlock items shared by other players.
New Free Content
This update marks a milestone by offering free content to Forza Motorsport players for the first time. In addition to the fixes, the patch introduces a new environment, Yas Marina, with its different circuits. Career mode sees the addition of the Prestige Tour and Italian Open Class, offering exclusive rewards such as the Lamborghini Sesto Elemento and Ferrari 488 6TB. In addition, a series of new cars, including the Aston Martin VI2 Vantage S and the Bugatti Veyron Super Sport, enhance the collection of racing enthusiasts.
Technical Fixes and Improvements
The update resolves various technical issues, especially on PC, with particular attention paid to users of AMD cards. Fixes have been made to group matchmaking, multiplayer game management, invitations and memberships, ensuring a smoother multiplayer experience. Gameplay fixes include fixing an exploit related to changing car settings mid-race, improving the fairness of competitions.
