With the new seasonal system, we will have to find something to do in the winter on Farming Simulator 22. Greenhouses will be a good way to produce whatever the outside temperatures. Giants tells us about it in a new post on the game's blog.
If you play with seasonal management and snow enabled, your farm will not produce crops during the winter. So what to do? Build greenhouses! Whatever the season and the weather conditions, players will be able to generate additional income, while sheltered, by growing vegetables.
3 greenhouses, 3 sizes
You will find the 3 buildings in the new production tab. Small, medium, or large, you can place the greenhouses on a free area of your land (which you must own). You can grow lettuce, tomatoes, and strawberries there.
The only thing to do for production to start is to ensure the water supply. Then, the "Production chains" tab will show you the evolution of the shoot. Your fruits will produce beautiful pallets if you choose the "Storage" option. But you are free to choose to sell them automatically or to distribute them to a production plant such as the bakery which will use the strawberries for its cakes.
