Landwirtschaftsverlag brings its agricultural expertise to Cattle and Crops

After lengthy negotiations, MasterBrain Bytes announces cooperation between Cattle and Crops and Landwirtschaftsverlag (agricultural publishing house) based in Münster, Germany.

Landwirtschaftsverlag (LV) is partnering with Masterbrain Bytes as a strategic partner and will assist the development team in many areas while providing the technical information necessary for a realistic simulation. With specialist magazines such as Profi, Top Agrar, Stark and many others, LV is the leading industrial publishing house in Europe.

From what perspective?

Very soon after the first versions were released, MasterBrain realized that communicating with the community, coordinating relationships with manufacturers, researching real data, and setting up marketing were time-consuming. This impacted the development of the game. Basically, there were two solutions:

Plan A: MasterBrain Bytes takes care of all of the above points on its own.
Plan B: The team joins forces to delegate certain parts, and to refocus on development.

“We finally opted for plan B. It was the start of a long process of finding a partner that lasted several months. This research contributed to the delays in updates. " announces the development team.

Effect on the project

In summary, Landwirtschaftsverlag will act as an advisor and will help MasterBrain Bytes in relations with the various agricultural machinery firms. “Since Landwirtschaftsverlag is widely positioned in a multitude of sectors such as vehicles, equipment (profi, traktorpool), soils and plants (top agrar) as well as pigs and cattle (SUS, Elite, vetconsult), we can take advantage of all of these areas and improve the game with a wealth of data. " A first result of this cooperation is already visible in the plant growth and fertilization system presented in v0.6, which was developed in cooperation with the LV editorial team.

Remember that the final version of Cattle and Crops, according to the calendar visible on the site, should arrive by the end of the year!
