In Farming Simulator 25, peas are introduced as a new crop. Giants Software tells us more: planting, growing, harvesting. You will know everything.
Peas: A Spring Crop
Peas, being one of the first crops you can sow in the spring, are perfect to start your growing season. Peas are usually planted between March and April. Simply prepare your seeder with about 250 litres of seeds per hectare, and you can expect a generous harvest of around 9 litres.
Profitability of pea harvest
With an average selling price of around €3120 per 1000 litres (variable depending on the difficulty chosen in the game), harvesting peas can be a profitable crop for your farm. However, you will need to be ready to harvest between July and September to maximise your yield.
A specific tool for harvesting
Harvesting peas requires specialized equipment. Farming Simulator 25 features the OXBO EPD540E, a harvester specially designed for peas.
Growth stages to watch for
It is important to carefully monitor the growth stages of the peas in your fields. If your peas start to look dried out, it is a sign that the season is lost and your harvest is ruined. To avoid this, keep a close eye on their progress.
