Razer Unveils Edge Handheld Console: A SteamDeck Competitor With Cutting-Edge Features

Razer captivated the audience at CES in Las Vegas this year by unveiling its foray into handheld consoles, much like Valve. This new adventure resulted in the creation of the handheld console dubbed Edge, combining elements of Valve's SteamDeck and the Nintendo Switch. Displaying a spacious central screen between two game controllers, this gaming tablet sports a Snapdragon G3X Gen1 processor, 6GB of RAM and a tuned version of the Razer Kishi V2 controller.

The device, powered by Android, features various streaming and cloud gaming platforms to deliver an immersive experience. The 6,8-inch screen offers a resolution of 2400x1080 pixels at 144Hz, while a 5000mAh battery powers the whole thing. Originally sold at $399,99 in WiFi version exclusively in the United States, the console is now available in Europe for €499,99, although the 5G variant is not yet planned for the old continent.
