RENNSPORT: the Unreal Engine 5 explodes our retinas on this new car simulation

Competition Company, a studio made up of professional pilots, esports experts, and sim racing programmers, released in early June some videos showing Rennsport, a new simulation which has the heavy ambition to become THE reference of auto racing sim, just that.

For the moment in closed beta status to recover the first feelings of pro players and influencers, the developers could release an open beta in the wild in the spring of 2023. Only a PC version is confirmed for the moment.

The first glimpses of gameplay do not make it possible to judge the relevance of the physics or any feeling at the wheel of the Porsche 911 GT3 or the BMW M4 presented, but the Unreal Engine 5, used for the development, shows the power of the lighting of the Epic's graphics engine. Obviously, the first pilots seem to find their bearings easily and do not make big mistakes.
