In a recent development diary Road Diner Simulator game, developers Drago Entertainment confirm that the game, although available separately from its cousin Gas Station Simulator, will have gateways and effects clearly visible in the campaign for owners of both titles. The impact would also go both ways.
If, like us, you enjoyed the hard work of managing a gas station in the American West with Gas Station Simulator (our test here) and your station is now famous (even by escaped partygoers from Area 51), your next adventure might well be to run a roadside restaurant right across from your beautiful station: Road Diner Simulator
The second part of a trilogy
Still planned for this year 2022 but without however having a precise date, the new game will therefore place you in charge of a restaurant located just in front of your gas station. Later, the third component will allow you to manage a motel.
The interactions between the different games
The first interaction desired by the developers is that the three games, although independent, are part of the same universe and that they will appear visually in each of them. So if you have the first two games and you launch Gas Station, you will see the exact status of your motel across the road and vice versa. It will be the same later with the Motel. Your decoration and customization efforts will therefore be taken into account in all three games.
Each game will therefore share the progress of each via an additional backup file which will be common and readable for the 3 games.
In addition to the visual, there will also be the possibility of using shared resources and global bonuses. Taking level as an example, if your gas station is rank 5, it will attract more customers for your restaurant as well. The type of customer will have an even greater influence in the next two games and some customers will only appear in your gas station once the restaurant or motel has been enlarged, for example.
Finally, regarding the economic aspect, you will have the possibility of sending money to your new business to help you have a more comfortable start, for example. It will be the same for certain goods.
