Unveiled as a prototype last year, Aerosoft's “Truck & Bus steering wheel system” has resurfaced and is available for pre-order now.
As a reminder, this is a PC compatible steering wheel, intended for driving trucks and buses. It has a diameter of 15,7 inches, a rotation angle of 1080° and a return forcefully advertised as “ultra realistic”, which means nothing in itself. It comes with a control panel with gear lever and a complete 3-way pedal assembly.
The particularity of the kit, in addition to this truck-type gear lever, are its 2 controls on either side of the steering wheel to manage headlights, indicators or even retarders. Regarding the quality of the assembly, it seems that the kit is “all plastic”. It will be necessary to see once in hand if the resistance of the materials is there.
Pre-orders are open, with a price of less than €350, instead of €383 (-10% on pre-orders). Still in the prototype state, the final version will not be delivered until 2024. Please note, however, that no official compatibility list has yet been announced. ETS2? ATS? Bus Simulator?
