Carrots, parsnips and beetroot are the new crops brought with the Premium Expansion of Farming Simulator 22 this November 14. Giants Software has just published an information note on its site to talk a little about beetroot. If you want to have a good burger recipe with this root vegetable, it's this way. And for the news, stay this way.
As with carrots and parsnips, beetroot benefits from using the new field tillage stage to create mounds before sowing. Aside from that, the process will seem familiar: After plowing the field and before sowing the beetroot, you create ridges using hillers. This improves your yield and counts as a fertilization step.
But it's not just mound formers like the GRIMME GF 400 & 800 that are new with the Premium Expansion. There are also seeders like the Kverneland Miniair Nova series. There are different harvester sizes to choose from: Use the Dewulf ZKIVSE, a 4-row ride-on harvester with an unloading elevator or opt for a smaller, more affordable, trailed harvester like the Dewulf GBC. There is a harvester for every farm.
