Hof Bergmann: All the new features of version 1.5

The ultimate edition before FS25

LSFM publishes the final update of the famous Hof Bergmann map for FS22 before being able to switch to FS25 which will be released on November 12. On the program for this version: native support for Manure System, an industrial composter, a deer farm, jam production, cider production and a roast chicken van to sell on various local markets and the production of contraband alcohol.
Be careful, as always a new save will be necessary otherwise you will have bugs in your game.
For the attention of French players who encounter download problems with the free version of the map : LSFM uses the host rapidgator for its free map download. This host was blocked by many French internet service providers following a court decision. For this to work, you must use the CHROME browser then in the security settings, activate secure DNS in order to bypass the blocking. See the illustration below.

Where to download and how to install Hof Bergmann

  • Your game must be in version 1.13.0 minimum and you must be on PC or MAC.
  • If you are playing with the Pump N' Hoses DLC, it must be in its latest patched version 1.3.0
  • The map in version 1.5 is available for everyone on lth LSFM website.
    • Free link (still requires you to create an account on the LSFM website)
    • Paid link (much faster download and with a single large file, by becoming an LSFM supporter, €6.99 for 1 month, €16.99 for 3 months, €48.90 for 1 year, €199 for life)
  • After downloading (by registering on the LSFM website), you will receive one or more RAR files (depending on the use of the free link – but slow – or the support link – faster and in a single file).
  • Then unzip the RAR file (if you have several, make sure you have them in the same folder before starting to open the first RAR file) to find the following subfolders which contain ZIP files that you will not need unzip but use as is in your MODS folder.

  • Move entire folder contents mods to your game's mods folder (usually %USERPROFILE%\Documents\My Games\FarmingSimulator2022\mods). You will have the map as well as all the mandatory mods to go with it.

Compulsory additional mods to be added manually

Attention, the game also requires the GTX script object-storage and the Move Husbandry Animals, both not included as standard. You will therefore need to add them from the modhub. Without these scripts, the map will not launch (neither in solo nor in multiplayer). In principle, when you open it, you will be invited to download the mod but it is better to plan ahead.

Contents of the RAR file FS22 HofBergmann Map AIO Pack

  • In the file Mods are all the ZIP files that you will need to copy into your mods folder. They accompany the card and are necessary to play.
  • In the file optionalMods, you will find a modified version of the Precision farming in order to take into account the particularities of the card such as compost. If you want to play with precision agriculture, LSFM therefore recommends that you use this version.
    If you play with the Goeweil DLC, you will also find the Goeweil Filltype mod file allowing you to use the press with the new map crops
    Finally, if you play with the MAIZE Plus, you will need to add the FS22_maizePlus_hofBergmann_animalFoodAdditions.zip file to your mods folder.
  • In the file extras, you will find the production diagrams of the microbrewery as well as the summary of the animal feeds available on the map.

Details on additional Mods and DLCs

Precision farming is fully supported (for compost) using the modified add-on mod (in the optional mods folder) specifically to take compost into account.

Le Pump N Hoses DLC is supported, with a small restriction: in some barns, mulching using dry matter is not displayed. Warning: remember to update your DLC to the corrected version 1.3 as well.

Le Göweil DLC is fully supported but absolutely requires that you remember to add in the mods folder the file FS22_goeweilPackFilltypesExtension.zip which is located in the Optionalmods folder of the RAR file.

The productions of Platinum DLC (ForestDLC) are not supported on the map, as there are no sell points for products.

The main additions of version 1.5

  • Support for ManureSystem (connections for slurry installed in all livestock buildings, slurry pits, at the point of sale of the treatment plant as well as at the BGA for digestate).
    Note: The LSFM pipe system still remains available as standard with the board without the need to install the Manure System.
  • Adding a van selling roast chickens. It can be used to sell the slaughtered chickens from the poultry farm to increase profits. You can buy it from the dealer in the “Street van sales” section.
    To fill it out and to sell the merchandise:
    • Open the rear truck door using mouse control while you are driving
    • Approach a crate containing the dead chickens to unload it
    • Then move the van to the locations dedicated to street sales (Grocery store, Bakery, Andy's parking lot). Sale is only possible at its three locations.
    • Open the side door then activate the van equipment to start rotating the spits and selling roast chickens
  • Addition of deer from breeding (with a dedicated enclosure behind the construction site near the forest in Hintertupfingen) to their slaughter (at the butcher or at the slaughterhouse) for meat production.
    Deer skin can only be obtained as a by-product at the slaughterhouse. You can make leather from it.
    For transporting deer, use the latest version of the LSFM livestock trailer.
  • small jam production have been integrated, one is on the main farm in the garage directly on the farm, the other is on farm 2 in the shed near the slurry pit of the pigsty. With this production it is possible to transform cherries (large and small boxes) or strawberries into jam. The product is a practical wooden box containing jars of jam. The jam can be sold at various points of sale (see price overview) including the farm store, the display of which has been adapted accordingly.
  • Cherry planting was slightly expanded with the arrival of a cherry packaging facility. You can either unload the cherry trailer directly there or empty the large crates. This filling installation is used exclusively for filling small wooden crates for cherries, available for purchase in the store. Cherries in crates have a little more value at sale. Its crates are also used for making jam.
    Please note: the cherry crates can only be filled via this installation.
  • Adding a oil mill accepting oilseed crops either for direct sale or for their transformation into vegetable oil (observe the signs to know where to unload). Oilseeds include rapeseed, sunflower, olives and soybeans.
    This oil mill works differently than in the base game, as it takes into account the different values ​​of the input crops. The product obtained is vegetable oil (unpackaged). In the standard production setting, this is distributed into IBC tanks. You can then either transport the tanks or empty them by standing next to them using a universal tank trailer.
    If you prefer to transport the oil directly in a tank to the bottling plant, simply change the production output mode to prevent the output in IBC tanks and then come directly with a tank trailer to the connection on the right of the mill building. This fitting is also compatible with the LSFM pipe system.
    Before (unpackaged) vegetable oil can be sold, it must first be packaged in customary bottles by the bottling plant.
  • Addition ofe 4 vegetable greenhouses as an alternative to municipal gardens (field 36), whose production is packaged in pallets and stored in a dedicated warehouse.
    There is a dumping area for compost and another for manure as well as a water collection/storage basin. The operation of greenhouses is different than in the base game, as they require compost for the planting containers, some manure, and water. They also produce organic waste as a by-product. The water supply must be done with the specially adapted water trolley (ABI 550) which you will have to configure in hand watering from the dealer (you will see a blue pipe appear at the back of the tank) or in spray mode.
  • The apple trees in the communal gardens have been reworked. For technical reasons, trees always need a little water to produce. Automatic water supply from rain has been removed. The harvesting process has also been modified: it is now necessary harvest apples by hand using a ladder and apple basket specially designed for this purpose.
    Small apple crates can still be used, but they are quite bulky on the tree. The large apple crate can be used to empty harvest baskets.
  • Added a purchasable ladder in the store in objects/miscellaneous, configurable between metal, wood and aluminum. It can also be secured with straps for transport
  • Added a small apple orchard near the main farm, purchasable as a plot. The harvesting process is equivalent to that of communal gardens).
  • Adding an old apple press installed in the apple orchard. Freshly harvested apples can be transformed into apple juice. Apple juice is only available in bulk and must be bottled before being sold. The other solution is to transform it directly into cider using the cellar built for this purpose in the apple orchard. The apple juice is taken from the presses using the small barrel on a LSFM trolley.
    For cider making, you must use the small wine cellar located in the apple grove. The cider is packaged using small wooden barrels which can be sold at a better price than apple juice.
  • Adding a construction site installed in front of the gas station, the construction site only serves as a point of sale for planks of wood from the sawmill, stones, gravel and beer for the construction team.
  • Adding a industrial composting site composed of several production facilities, such as a composting machine, a packaging facility, a stone crusher, a small workshop and 3 silos with special characteristics: one for organic waste (to the left of the composter) in order to transform them into bio-waste and the other two to store the finished compost.
    Industrial composter (CompostMaster:
    The composter must first be filled with bio-waste to produce finished compost distributed in bulk. As a complementary by-product, we obtain stones which are collected in a container (to the right of the vibrating screen).
    The finished compost can be sold in bulk at various points of sale or packaged in the packaging hall. Packaged compost earns more when sold. The stones obtained can be sold as is or transformed into gravel, which is more profitable. The compost can be sold at the Raiffeisen market or used in greenhouses.
    Stones or gravel can be sold on site.
    Conditioning hall :
    Requires compost brought in from outside as well as empty pallets that you will need to bring inside. Empty pallets are available either in the store (consumer goods) or from your production at the sawmill.
    The packing hall also has a warehouse for already packed compost pallets.
    The warehouse is on the right and is equipped with a switch which allows compost pallets to be automatically stored (same principle as for the hops warehouse).
    Tip: all the production facilities of the composting plant are equipped with a small feature, you can change the appearance from new to used: the change is made using the wrench icon, which is usually found behind machines. (Show interaction markers in game menu)
  • The sawmill was completed by a production of empty pallets, this is built as a separate production and is located opposite the direct sales of wood. As a starter, you will need boards also made in the sawmill.
  • The Raiffeisen market now accepts packaged compost at the point of sale.
  • You can now craftbootleg alcohol with sugar and corn using a secret still on a small island in the middle of the lake.

    Very good map, we haven't been playing it for 3 weeks before we went to another German map.
    On the other hand, we managed to transfer v1.4 via filezilla to a dedicated Gportal server but when we wanted to put v1.5 and today v1.5.0.1 impossible.
    Are we the only ones having this problem or not? For Giant it's a card problem……

      No problem getting it to work on a dedicated server on our side.
      In general, if the map does not launch on a dedicated server, it is because the obligatory mods to download from the modhub and also to put in the mods are missing. See our article to find out the mandatory mods to retrieve from ModHub.

        It's not a problem of mods but of transfer we can't put it either through the Giant interface or through Filezilla. We can get the mods below 1.7GB but no more.
        We are at Gportal as I had a doubt I priced a server on Verygames for 1 month and I got the same result impossible to pass the card
