Since its initial release in the spring, Team LSFM has been busy with this big fall update which, in addition to adding new fields, further enriches the Hof Bergmann gameplay with new production chains headed by bridge the arrival of the micro brewery (but not yet the cultivation of hops).
Those familiar with Hof Bergmann know that the LSFM team releases a major map update roughly every 6 months. As it is mandatory each time to restart your backup from scratch, additions and improvements must always bring new gameplay and this version 1.1 is faithful to tradition. Here we will take stock of all the changes and additions.
Where to download and how to install Hof Bergmann
- Your game must be in version 1.8.1 minimum and you must be on PC or MAC.
- If you are playing with the Pump N' Hoses DLC, it must be in its latest patched version 1.2
- The map in version 1.1 must be available for everyone from November 4, 2022 on the LSFM site.
- After downloading (by registering on the LSFM website), you will receive one or more RAR files (depending on whether you use the free – but slow – link or if you are a supporter (donor) with a faster link and in one file).
- Then unzip the RAR file to find the following sub-folders which contain ZIP files that should not be unzipped but used as is in your MODS folder.
- Move entire folder contents mods to your game's mods folder (usually %USERPROFILE%\Documents\My Games\FarmingSimulator2022\mods). You will have the map as well as all the mandatory mods to go with it.
Without this script, no boot or pallet storage will work on the map.
In principle, at the opening of this one you will be invited to download the mod but it is better to anticipate already.
- In the file optionalMods, you will find a modified version of Precision Farming to take into account the peculiarities of the map such as compost. If you want to play with precision farming, the LSFM therefore recommends that you use this version.
- In the file extras, you will find the production diagrams of the microbrewery as well as the summary of the animal feeds available on the map.
Details on additional Mods and DLCs
Maize Plus mod and Animal Grazing (grazing) are not supported (and probably never will be) in Hof Bergmann because some scripts contradict the map ecosystem desired by LSFM.
Precision farming is fully supported using the modified add-on mod (in the optional mods folder) specifically to account for compost
The Pump N Hoses DLC is supported, with a small restriction: in some barns, mulching using dry matter is not displayed. Warning: remember to update your DLC to the corrected version 1.2 as well.

An enlargement of the map
You will have the pleasure of discovering a whole new area to the northwest with the malting house (the raw material for the brewery being obviously malt), a brand new village and its tavern, a stable and also a large buildable area to allow you to pose your own buildings (we naturally think of the BGA of the Pump'N Hoses DLC for example).
The wine estate has been reduced to make way for a larger forest area in anticipation of the future Platinum DLC and its set of equipment and vehicles dedicated to forestry.
As you cross the street that borders your main farm, you will find a new yard with a composting area, vehicle washing area, BigBag filler, gas station, liquid fertilizer storage silo, sheds for vehicles, a warehouse for potatoes and a FixFermenter for silage.
The great return of butchery and its multiple types of meat
Fuchshausen finally finds his butcher's shop where all animal species can be transformed into meat, with the exception of horses and cats. Since the butchery is seen as a production chain, several outputs are possible: pork, beef, poultry and mutton/goat. Each type of meat can therefore obtain different selling prices.
The store on the street side of the butcher is closed when production has been put on hold or distributed. When there is meat available for sale, the shop will automatically open (within opening hours).
As this is only a small village butcher, it will not be possible to deliver many animals at the same time. Capacities are limited: pigs = 10 coins, cattle = 6 coins, poultry = 20 coins, sheep/goats = 10 coins.
As it is several productions in one, they can also work in parallel.
A small feature has been added to the spawn point of meat crates: the ability to remove pallets that are already on the ground and replace them with pallets with straps (purchasable at the store). Thus, the crates of meat will arrive automatically on the pallets and can be transported using a forklift.
After the wine, here comes the beer
Directly accessible from your central farmhouse, you will find a building converted into a micro-brewery so you can make your own beer, which you can package in barrels or bottles (at the bottling plant). All the steps will be detailed in the production chain and summarized on a poster glued to the wall (being translated by Jericho who had already worked for the VF pack under FS19).

The full list of additions
- Grasslands can now be mowed with a forage harvester (Giants didn't include it in the base game).
- Addition of a mixer to prepare pig food for your pigsty. The recipe uses potatoes and crushed cereals (cereal cakes). Potatoes can be purchased from the agricultural cooperative.
Particularity of the mixer : In distribution mode, it produces big-bags of pig food. - The hayloft and its dryer above the stable have been reworked, it now functions as a simple hay store. Hay storage and drying operate separately. The hay warehouse remains seen as a silo and the hay dryer functions as production.
There is no more straw storage, it has been moved to another part of the farm (see description below). - New additional yard in front of your main yard with composting area, vehicle washing area, BigBag filler, gas station, liquid fertilizer storage silo, vehicle sheds, apple warehouse of soil and a FixFermenter for silage.
Note: The FixFerm needs FixFermActive, which serves as a fast fermentation agent and can be purchased from the shop as an IBC tank or in bulk from the Farm Co-op (with an LSFM Universal Trailer tank). - The dairy now makes it possible to sell its milk directly without going through the production of UHT milk.
- Addition of a small bakery of village in the 1st village. It is a point of sale for various products. The sale of products is done in the yard.
At the back of the bakery, it is possible to have your bread made (production line), the baker only needs flour. - Added a separate grain sell point from the Grain Mill, this is only used as a sell point (note: there are two unloading points behind the building, follow the signs).
- At the agricultural cooperative, it is now possible to buy consumables such as liquid fertilizers, plant protection products and FixFermActive directly with a trailer (eg LSFM Universal Tank Trailer).
- Adding a stationpurchase of potatoes at the farm produce vendor, very useful if you need potatoes for the static mixer but don't want to grow them.
- At the church in Fuchshausen it is now possible to sell grape juice (packaged), wine (packaged), bread and of course beer, the delivery is made personally to the village priest.
- Addition ofan empty transport pallet, this can be used to place objects on the pallet and attach them with straps (useful at the butcher for example).
- Adding a butchery in Fuchshausen, where all animal species can be processed into meat, except for horses and cats. See above for details.
- Main house enlarged and slightly refurbished, there is now a bedroom where you can pass the time and the wardrobe to access the wardrobe. Intermediate doors were also installed.
- Added a new animal species, now there are cats.
These can be fed so that they can reproduce. They must be fed using cat food available in the shop.
For their transport, one can use the transport box for pets or the bag for small animals from the shop.
Note on small animal transport boxes:
The transport boxes or the bag for small animals are to be placed in the animal management points to carry out the transfer. Regarding cats, the trigger is right next to the food bowls (it is invisible but if you look at the F1 menu you will see when you have the option to manage animals).
Another peculiarity that is unfortunately game-related, if one has something in the animal's transport box, the F1 help menu always displays "Open animal menu". - The BGA can now be populated with:
Silage, crushed vegetables, grass, manure, slurry, beet pulp, grape marc, potatoes, sugar beets, biological waste and compost.
Once dumped, they are automatically converted into a single type of output (biomass), but they do not all have the same yield.
In the control room of the methanizer, you can read the performance of each entrant on the control screen. Note: the screen only lights up when the BGA is on.
The land for the methanizer has been redesigned, the bulk goods warehouse has been fitted with a hall and floodlights, the entrance has been redesigned.

- Bulk straw storage was moved near the stable for the horses, it is now treated as storage in its own right.
- A grain dryer was installed on the farm. It is used to dry different kinds of cereals such as wheat, barley, oats and sorghum. The product obtained is a cereal (dried). This will sell for more. The dryer also needs methane (biogas) to power the installation. Biogas can be obtained from the BGA's own production or, if one does not yet have a biogas plant, can be purchased at the service station for a higher price using a gas tanker trailer ( among the Universal Tank) by going to the pump.
Important note regarding the grain dryer: filling and emptying must be carried out with an auger. LSFM recommends the Meridian TL1239AL which is included with the map and is even already present on the farm as a starting vehicle (new farmer mode) - Adding a forest area next to the vineyard, where there is now a coniferous forest for forestry work.
- Added portable ladders to reach various places that are high up and otherwise inaccessible
Notes: Dynamically installed map objects are unfortunately not saved after a position change and are reset after a restart,
Likewise, these items are not portable in-game and cannot be moved. - Adding collectibles (not very many)
- Adding from a farm brewery, it is now possible to brew your own beer there, the necessary ingredients such as hops or empty beer kegs are available in the shop.
A simplified brewing guide is displayed on the brewery wall or available in PNG format in the map pack. - Added a new district on the map, there is now a new small village there called "Hintertupfingen", a malting house, a large building plot to build buildings yourself,
an inn as a selling point, a cattle fattening farm with a feeding robot and many meadows and small fields.
The feeding robot works with a script that allows animals to be fed 3 times per hour. - New removable haystacks.
These are wooden supports where the grass can be dried to make hay, according to tradition.
They can be found in the construction menu under Building/Tools.
- A cold room has been set up in the unused room near the main farm stall, the cold room serves as a pallet warehouse and is based on the ObjectStorage script from GTX.
there are 6 slots for different types of pallets, the type of pallets to be stored can be set by the menu.
The list of modifications and corrections
- Increased compatibility with other mods.
- Numbering of the version of the map adapted to the Giants algorithm (previously 1.0.0.1/1.0.0.2 and now 1.1.0.0).
- Cheese production is now slowed when producing both types of cheese at the same time. Indeed, it is not expected that the two cheeses are made at the same time in the same tank, as this could disrupt the progress of the animation.
Unfortunately, it is not technically possible to do otherwise, otherwise one would either have to remove one of the cheeses or install a second tank. - The grass is a little higher.
- Changed decorative grass (edging grass).
- Removed exaggerated amount of stones, they are not typical of the region the map is based on.
- Plots 16 and 17 have been correctly divided.
- Adjusted distance clips, white borders around fields should now disappear.
- Sun rotation set to default direction. Those who wish to do as in previous versions can modify the sundial again.
(Effects: the visible sun is again in the wrong place and the fog is too bright). - The chicks no longer lay eggs.
- Egg Crate capacity has been doubled (fewer crates now spawn).
- Calves and heifers no longer produce milk.
- Lambs no longer produce wool.
- The kids no longer produce milk.
- Reduced number of animals in pasture to 100.
- Adjustment of animal food, see summary table for food.
- Removal of duplicate big-bags in the shop, the card now works with the LSFM big-bag pack which is mandatory.
- The plots in the communal garden (vegetable garden) are no longer considered as fields, the textures of the plots are now normal soil textures (this allows for better compatibility with precision farming).
- The entrance gates to the site are now open when starting the game.
- Bugfix, Warning: Could not add shape 'grapeJuiceCarton' (grapeJuiceCarton7Shape) to tension belts due to the missing CPU mesh flag.
- Energy prices for electricity and diesel adapted to the current situation.
- Adaptation of the price policy in the village grocery store, people who bring the goods directly to the hand in the grocery store now get a better price than those who drop off the goods at the back of the farm.
- The goats now produce milk even after 16 months.
- Vineyard area reduced by half.
- Fixed bunker silos textures.
- Changed the symbol for methane.
- Modification of the fertilizer for the vegetable garden – for technical reasons, a new type of filling is used.
- The plots of the vegetable garden have been modified. They can now be fertilized with manure, compost or garden/vegetable fertilizer from the shop.
- Increased fertilizer absorption capacity in vegetable garden plots. They are now also automatically watered when it rains, otherwise they should be watered as usual.
- The IBC water tank in the communal garden is now a rainwater collection tank, which is filled by rain or can also be filled manually.
It is always possible to fill the watering can or bucket using the rainwater tank. - Modification of the apple trees in the vegetable garden, these now also receive water when it rains, if it does not rain they must be watered.
Attention ! Trees no longer automatically produce apple crates, these must be purchased empty from the shop (reusable crates).
Filling is done by placing the crate against a tree and pressing "Start Filling". - Change in the animal preview for horses, food is now displayed directly. Attention, oats and sorghum can only be given in the stable.
- The chicken pen has been slightly modified, it is now more beautiful and the chicken coop has been slightly enlarged.
- Field 19 has been split into 2 fields.
- The manure in the calf hutches could hardly be removed if it was too far back, this has been fixed, you must use the latest LSFM FarmEquipment pack version 1.0.0.5
- Flour sacks have been tweaked slightly (shouldn't be so bulky anymore).
- Improved refillable buckets, all bulk products are now supported, including water and milk.
Water and milk fill textures now look slightly different, and effects have been added when pouring. - At the village grocery store in the backyard, porter's crates no longer need to be returned (dumped) to be sold, a little trick allows it. ^^
At the same time, other products for sale have been added to the village grocery store, it is now possible to sell sausages and beer (crates). - Ifko has integrated a fix for the management of straps in the map to prevent objects from suddenly weighing 100 tons when applying straps. (This also applies to the bike)
- Collectibles have been revised, it is now possible to find different objects. If we find them all, we receive a reward of 1 million euros. But for each object found, we now receive much less money than before.
Your frequently asked questions
- When and where is the card available?
The card is available free of charge at the LSFM website via a restrained and multi-part download. The supporters LSFM (if you become a donor to participate financially in the LSFM community and thank the modder for his work) have a faster link and in a single file.
- Is the card console compatible?
Due to the use of specific scripts, this card is not console compatible.
- Will the menu exist entirely in French?
Lactic68 and Jericho_47 are currently working on the French localization of the map. This localization will be available shortly after the release of the map in the form of a downloadable pack also on the LSFM site. For the moment only the texts are in French (directly integrated into the map)
- Where are the bakery, the butcher, the inseminator, the collection of semen from bulls, the features present on the FS19 version not yet implemented here? Ditto for cereal cakes, what are they used for?
The map will receive regular feature additions with each release cycle (approximately every 6 months). It is not impossible that sooner or later we will regain its functionality. This version 1.1 already sees the return of the butchery, the malting and the bakery.
For the moment, it is not possible to sell or use cereal cakes.
On the other hand, crushed malt is useful for your brewery.
- Is the card multi compatible? With Courseplay, Autodrive, Precision Farming, Pump 'N Hoses DLC?
Yes for the multi but without the possibility of selling the buildings however. Courseplay works smoothly with this map, as does autodrive. Precision farming will also work in "standard" mode (i.e. with the generic soil map) on Hof Bergmann. However, the compost offered on the map will not be recognized as a default fertilizer, which is why a modified version is provided with the map.
The Pump'N Hoses DLC is accepted on HofBergmann but the map has its own biogas plant. However, nothing prevents you from installing an additional one in the building zone to the northwest.
