We already owed him the wonderful Claas AxionFew Fendt, and trailers. The modder Smety put back the table with the Claas xerion and the work is once again particularly neat.
The Xerion range has already been offered several times by other modders on FS17. Some are also better provided with options such as remote inflation or more advanced consoles in the cabin. But the mods tested today are the most consistent with the original game in terms of quality.
It is through 2 files that we can discover the TRAC VC and SADDLE TRAC versions. Each has 4 directional wheels which can be locked at the rear. The options to buy are quite meager. Only the choice of color is available: green / black / white for the body, red / black / gray for the rims. For the TRAC VC model, you can choose the power (Xerion 4000, 4500 or 5000) up to 530 hp.
In the game, the models stand out with top-flight models, and truly complete cabins. Only physics sins a bit in my opinion. You don't feel the tire inflation and the cabin is quite rigid.
The Saddle Trac model, with its cabin placed above the foredeck, offers a spacious platform behind the cabin but the game unfortunately lacks compatible equipment to fully exploit this capability (a ton to read with the mod would have been welcome) . The Trac VC model has a 180 ° swivel cab. In seconds, the cab can be raised and swiveled back over the axle, ideal for silage or forestry work.
Small flat on artificial intelligence which has difficulty in controlling large tractors with large tools.

Physics and realism
A particularly faithful model and which fits well in the game. The physics is a little tight but the pivoting movement of the cabin is impeccable. The overall quality of these mods make them a must have for FS17.
