Definitely, a round of mods aimed at improving Farming Simulator 19's AI has filled the official modhub. After the very simple Follow Me, here is the AutoDrive, or automatic piloting. But beware, it only has an automatic name. Explanations.
Complicated this mod, especially since no instructions are provided with, except a video in German. It is necessary to understand the principle of operation to apprehend it. In short, the mod allows you to create points on a map, and define routes to reach them. For example, if you want to take a dumpster to silo 1 and you are working in field 3, you will need to create point "Silo 1" and then drive to field 3 to define the route to take to get there. Now imagine that you want to drop the contents of a dumpster into silo 2 and you are working in field 4 - this is an example - you will repeat a similar operation.
To complicate matters, you are in field 4 and you want to pour the contents of your harvest into silo 1. In this case, there is no need to recreate a complete plot. The mod offers a tool to interconnect the roads you have mapped out. By dint of use on a map, you should be able to "map" all the possible and imaginable routes. You will understand, this mod is not a puzzle but a real game of patience, during which you will have to define everything and save your work. Personally, I find the CoursePlay mod more ergonomic and more complete (collision detection, possibility of ordering actions to workers, etc.).
Rather than giving you a (very) long description of how to use the AutoDrive mod, I suggest you watch the short video that illustrates this article. Feel free to comment on it (or comment on this post) to ask your questions, because there will surely be some. While waiting for the next CoursePlay 6 tutorials ...
