BlackSheep offers, for the Christmas holidays, to play on a new map for Farming Simulator 19: The countryside of France.
It is a (very) small map, in the tradition of Osina, with narrow streets and small enclosures. She only uses a tiny part of the PDA, and getting from one end to the other, even on foot, doesn't take much more than a minute. The menu is characterized by little nods to the French decor: bakery, brewery, cattle trade, agricultural cooperative and “Saint Montiron” village entrance sign. No doubt about it, the player does not evolve in the Australian plains, nor among our German neighbors.
In use, the decorations are pleasant, and you always have the decor in front of you, be it buildings, farms, forests, pedestrians,… the menu is alive and you never get bored. Compatible with PC / MAC / PS4 / XboxOne, and mod seasons, it is optimized with the small onions, and is a featherweight to download: just over 80 MB, which makes (to verify) the lightest card of the modhub . Collisions are well managed, with a cross that appears and blocks your way when you go too far (see screenshot below). The small size will not have allowed Blacksheep Modding to integrate all the productions: the horses and poultry are missing, it is up to you to place them, and it is not easy because the map is very hilly. The game engine often refuses to place a building where the player would like to position it. The points of sale are there, accompanied by a sawmill and a BGA.
