Failing to have a classic pack as for the previous Farming Simulator opus, North Modding Company offers us to fall back on this old Ferguson TE20 dating after the war and accompanied by a multitude of tools.
We're missing that Farming Classics pack that we played with on FS 15 and 17. But the consolation prize has just arrived, and it's called Ferguson TE20. North Modding Company supplies it to us in 3 versions: 4 wheels, rear tracks and finally in a twin engine configuration with 2 twin tractors. Each machine has a significant number of options: chains on the tires, stickers, front weights, rear linkage type… and even skis as front wheels for the track version. What better way to slide on the snow of the seasons mod?
The tractors can not match the material of the game, the modder has provided a series of tools of the time. You will find pick, front loader (in tractor options), circular saw, clamp, weight, trailer, and several plows. All these beautiful people will allow you to do a few small forestry projects and work on very small plots.
Physics problems
We know that physics is not the strong point of Farming Simulator. It is often difficult to adjust the distribution of masses on a vehicle or an implement. And this pack is no exception. During the test, we were able to spot wavering from the tractors and several collision issues which notably prevented us from pricking a bale of straw. Worse, when the front loader is raised, the tractor turns over at the slightest turn. We can also ask the question of such validation of mod by Giants Software. Fortunately North Modding Company has already announced the arrival of other tools via an update of the pack. We dare to hope that these physics problems will be solved with this future update.
