It is there, at least on PC, since the console version will arrive with a week of delay due to a last minute bug. The Straw Harvest add-on revisits the use of straw on Farming Simulator 19.
Already present on FS 17, paying, it returns, free, on FS 19. Creative Mesh, which is still the author, wanted to make it available to as many players as possible. This pack revolves around the equipment of the German manufacturer Krone. It adds a BigPack 1290 high density baler, a Comprima V180 round baler capable of creating bales of several diameters (1.10, 1.30, 1.55 and 1.80m), a BaleCollect 1230 bale consolidator and especially the Premos 5000 pellet press. Krone hardware is not alone. Several bale transport claws accompany it, with the possibility of adapting, depending on the size, on a front loader, telescopic or wheel loader.
A revised gameplay around the sale of pellets
It is obviously the Premos and its manufacture of straw or hay pellets that is at the center of the new gameplay. It is now possible to collect the straw on the ground directly with this new baler, or to feed the chamber of the Premos 5000 directly with a straw chopper, which is attached to the front to work independently. Everything is well thought out and true to reality. Straw Harvest adds 3 buildings: a material storage shed, another for the storage of pellets, and finally a last, which allows the pellets to be palletized for sale.
In this factory, you deposit the pellets on the ground before transporting them using a grapple in a hopper. Once fed, everything kicks in and packaging begins. Several grapples are available, so you can take the pellets but also the pallets once created. Ideal for loadings on platform.
Hay pellets can be used as animal feed, directly at the trough, while straw pellets are only intended for sale. Moreover, a placeable point of sale is part of this DLC. Straw finally brings in money ... and not just a little. In short, the Straw Harvest may well end up on all Farming Simulator 19 installations. Free, we would be wrong to do without it anyway.
