He was talking about it already last year on the Giants Software forum, the modder OxygenDavid, known in particular for his Sandy Bay map on Farming Simulator 17, has just seen his Marwell Manor Farm map validated on the official modhub.
A totally unusual map since it faithfully reproduces a county located in the southern part of England. And what better way for this reproduction than to use a satellite view, which the modder did. The result is there, once in the game, we are amazed. Always a tree or a building in the field of vision, never a deserted area.
Let's talk about buildings. Finally in an FS 19 map, we end up with buildings with more than 20 polygons and textures in a correct definition. The modder also seems to have an eye for detail since no farmyard is empty. A concrete mixer here, a pile of rubble there, a few wrecks in a corner, we never tire of the decor recreated here. In new farmer mode, we start the game with an exploitable plot and the enclosures for the animals already demarcated. All farms are available as well as several points of sale.
In the northern part is a forest, large enough to work long hours. What more can we say except that this week has been placed under the Maps signs on the official modhub. After the 3 tested yesterday, here is a 4th which should satisfy console players, a little sidelined since the release of Farming Simulator 19. It is, in my opinion, the best of the 4. It clearly deserves to take an interest in it.
