Modder OlaHaldor published a new map concept on the modhub in mid-July: Rennebu, which means gutter in Norwegian, is an 8 by 8 km map, modeled on real data from the Rennebu region in Norway. A river bordered by imposing mountains whose depth contrasts radically with the classic maps of Farming Simulator 22.
Moreover, this map is clearly not unanimous within Univers-Simu.com. Personally, I find that the map allows you to escape, with sets that offer quite exceptional views, as long as you don't look too much in detail. But the mappers of the team clearly find this map too light in content, sloppy limit. "It lacks buildings" or "The foliage is awful". It must be said that beyond the panorama, Rennebu offers nothing more than the bare necessities. The mountain is actually not used for much other than the forester. The agricultural part being concentrated in the valley, which represents perhaps 1/5th of the surface.
Another member of the team points out that Rennebu may have come out "a little too early". Anyway, you are free to test it, if you are on PC, because the consoles cannot display the 64 km² without blowing up the counters. Moreover, in terms of performance, plan for a good configuration, it is not uncommon to drop below 30 fps, or to see a field load when you have been playing for 5 minutes… The limits of Giants Engine seem to be affected.
