If there is one point on which Farming Simulator 22 (and even the previous ones) is not necessarily comfortable, it is physics. Between the 500kg balls that seem to inflate with helium, or the tractors of several tons capable of the most beautiful pirouettes, Giants has never hidden the difficulty of managing an environment with very high masses.
This did not prevent the modder XaresHolzWelten from coming to titillate the Giants Engine on this terrain with the mod "Build With Bricks" which offers players to place, with the landscape tool, blocks and concrete slabs to stack. And you have to admit that… it works pretty well. Finally… for the first nested elements. Because nature quickly takes back its rights, and building an entire house can turn into a catastrophic framerate.
In use, you have to wait a few seconds after placing a block for “the physics to stabilize” and stop the calculations. After about thirty stacked blocks, the number of frames per second begins to decrease. On our large configurations, it was not uncommon to go from 60 fps to 10. In short, a mod was used with caution, especially on older generation consoles, at the risk of making your game unplayable.
