A worthy successor to Bus Simulator 18, the new opus, still in development, of the simulation of the studio StillAlive, still published by Astragon, will be in the spotlight at the virtual Gamescom this Sunday, August 30. And since we haven't told you about this sequel yet, let's do a quick presentation.
Bus Simulator 21 will land on PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One in 2021, hence its name. Still powered by the Unreal Engine, porting the game to the next generation of consoles is already under study. With Bus Simulator 21, players will experience a more complete episode, with a multitude of new buses faithfully reproduced and officially licensed from renowned manufacturers like Alexander Dennis.
In addition to the “marketing” aspect, it is above all the arrival of double-decker buses (2 floors) and electric buses that will set the game apart from the previous version and from its competitors. The game will offer "two gigantic cards" according to the publisher Astragon. It will take the Bus Simulator 18 map, Seaside Valley and its official expansion, and add a new American map: the city of Angel Shores, inspired by the San Francisco Bay. Players will be able to play in the industrial district, in the suburbs, in the city center, in a bustling Chinatown, on the waterfront, in the surrounding hills or in the commercial activity zone, all in an open world. .
Much like its predecessors, Bus Simulator 21 will offer cooperative multiplayer mode so that virtual drivers can drive on the lines of their own network, with their friends, and grow their joint public transport business. The game's sophisticated management system will offer even more freedom, many additional options and, for the first time, the ability to create detailed timetables for your own fleet of buses. Artificial intelligence will of course give you a hand.
In addition to the campaigns, Bus Simulator 21 will offer many random events and ancillary tasks as well as a sandbox mode in which players will have total freedom of action and will develop their transport companies according to their desires and needs. “Bus enthusiasts and simulation fans alike can look forward to the most comprehensive bus driving experience in the history of the series! »Rejoices Astragon.
