After separating from its publisher Astragon, MiscGames begins communication on its next title, Fishing North Atlantic, the sequel to Barents Sea. A video and the first images that suggest a clear improvement in the graphics.
It's still Unreal Engine 4 that powers Misc Games' sea fishing game, which is slated to launch in August on PC Steam. The developer seems to want to ignore the Astragon publishing house which was responsible for the launch of Barents Sea and is not announcing any version on consoles for the moment (we are talking about 2021…). The characteristics of the game had already been unveiled but we are undergoing some corrections, especially in the number of available boats, which has gone from 20 to 25.
The launch trailer shows some pretty interesting ingame images with really extensive work on the physics of the sea: large waves, traces of the hulls of boats, reflections… The realism is striking. The gameplay evolves with realistic weather conditions that will affect your navigation. The selling prices of your fishing products are now dynamic and vary according to supply and demand. The developers announce a gigantic map measuring 200 × 300 km, which, at boat speed, will take several hours to cross.
