Farmcon 20 took place this afternoon from 14 p.m. to 18 p.m. The event could be followed online on Giants Software's Twitch channel. The traditional modding points followed one another before lifting the veil on the Alpine Farming Expansion DLC for Farming Simulator 19 which will be released on November 12.
Covid 19 requires, the Farmcon, which was to take place at the headquarters of the manufacturer Deutz-Fahr, has turned into an online digital fair. The technical members of Giants Software chained the presentations to talk about the novelties in modding. It is finally the last part of the Farmcon which was awaited by the numerous spectators (more than 6000). And for good reason, Giants Software has lifted the veil on the next DLC: An extensions that teleports us to the Alps.
During this short presentation, we were able to see material worked in a wooded mountain setting with very pronounced relief. It is announced as being accompanied by about thirty new materials with brands like Aebi, Lindner, Pöttinger, Rigitrac, SIP and many others. The full list can be found further down in the article.
A huge Swiss map!
The map therefore takes us to Erlengrat! The city and its hilly surroundings are inspired by the German-speaking Alpine regions of Switzerland, Austria and southern Germany. Vast green fields stretch around Erlengrat to the horizon, where mountains and vivid blue skies meet - the perfect playground, especially for harvesting grass and ranching. cattle as in the real Alps.
As a 'tourist destination' in a fictional region, Erlengrat invites you into a verdant landscape with redesigned poplars, weeping willows and oaks, as well as bustling passenger trains and a cable car.
With drops of up to 260 meters (physical limit of the Giants Editor), there is a lot to discover in Erlengrat. For example, the chocolate maker and the cheese factory, both of whom are waiting for fresh milk to be delivered. At the supermarket you can also resell all kinds of goods directly.
