Clearly, the world of agricultural video games will show us all the colors. And the PlayWay editor has a little to do with it. This “specialist” in all kinds of simulation signs with the young Polish studio Ritual Interactive for the publication of Farmer Wars, a totally crazy FPS / agricultural simulation.
Welcome to a hostile environment, where war between neighboring farmers is raging. Here is in one line the completely disconnected scenario which sets the scene of Farmer Wars. For the moment, only a punctuated one-minute trailer allows us to have some information on this title. We see several farmers trying to kill each other using hunting rifles, pitchforks, submachine guns, rocket launcher, and even a tank (!). You will understand, there is absolutely nothing serious in this game. We also see a Fendt 1050 straight out of a competing game (yes, we have compared in detail). The catchphrase “Farm like never before” is certainly no stranger to you. Proof of the credibility of the project ...
Graphically, the game is not lagging behind, and the general rendering is quite seductive, with lighting and textures of good finesse. On the simulation side, however, it is very poor. We are told about managing farms and selling crops in order to earn money and buy ever bigger guns. It will obviously not be the heart of the gameplay. Scheduled for Q2 2022 on Steam, we do not yet know if a release on the nextgen consoles is on the agenda. Between big flop or big delirium in multi with friends, we do not really know what to think.
