Oulala! You saw it coming to 100 km this enticing title. And yet it is not the kind of house. But then why this article? Quite simply that as an old man of Farming Simulator, there is information released by Giants Software that does not deceive.
Back from Farmcon, where the freshly released Seasons mod was heavily applauded by the audience, we all got an email from Giants Software. This email, a simple satisfaction questionnaire, contained no less than twenty questions. But in the end, only one would have made me jump out of my seat, screaming: "It's not possible!" The Seasons mod is finally coming to the game! "
So yes and no, that's just a guess. But the question asked by the developer is just obvious: Do the players present at Farmcon - in other words rather serious players and interested in the game - want the Seasons mod directly in the game?
What does this question 16 say?
This is a simple question, followed by 4 answers: "If something was missing from real life, what would it be?" ". And the 4 possible answers:
- Crop damage linked to climate and weather conditions (perfect sowing date, drought, etc.)
- Leaf diseases, insect pressure and control measures (protection and optimization of yield)
- High-tech agricultural equipment / control (GPS-controlled sprayers, digital field monitoring, etc.)
- Precision agriculture (variable yield)
How can we not make the connection with the Seasons mod when the same one adds all these characteristics to Farming Simulator (apart from the insects)? Especially since the previous question was "Do you think the game is realistic enough?" "
From there to saying that Giants Software is (very) closely interested in the functionalities of the Realismus Modding mod, there is only one step, and I dare to take it.
