Microsoft adds even more content to its Flight Simulator flight simulator with fascinating new landscapes of Oceania in its World Update XIII, its updates which come to add more details to an already very rich game. Known as both a continent and a geographic region, and straddling the northern, southern, eastern and western hemispheres, Oceania is made up of isolated coral islands, long stretches of white sand beaches, towering volcanoes, vast inland stretches of uninhabited rainforest and populated cities. teeming with modern architectural marvels. Antarctica is an aviator's dream destination with limitless adventure, intrigue and vistas over pristine coastal glacial terrain.
Flight Simulator World Update XIII includes Polynesia (Hawaii and Easter Island), Melanesia (Fiji, New Caledonia, New Guinea, Indonesian West Papua and Solomon Islands), the Galapagos Islands and key areas of Antarctica, especially the Antarctic Peninsula. The update provides a total of 13 countries and 28 non-sovereign territories, with improved resolution that will allow pilots to experience stunning new sights in these regions.
Le Orbx partner studio was responsible for creating 150 points of interest (POI) throughout the region. (full list here). The update is free, the download is done via the in-game package manager.
