We know the extent of Kuhn's know-how, already unveiled in previous editions of Farming Simulator. But the range represented has, for the most part, been renewed IRL. From there, it is possible to predict the arrival of the next materials in the game… and even to go even further. Let's take a look at the categories of equipment where Kuhn could shine.
Seed drills
The trend is towards heavy equipment. Or at least no longer at the "small". The Espro 3m could be replaced by theEspro 6m. A good intermediary since this seeder for simplified sowing can go up to 8m. It was becoming difficult to use the 3m version on maps like Ravenport.
We have been talking a lot about precision lately, Kuhn has an interesting precision seed drill: The Maxima 3. It is likely that the manufacturer wants to highlight it. And to meet the needs of the game for different cultures, logic would like to integrate a TTR model in 8 rows. But we could also see wider with a Kosma R in 12 rows.
presses
The variable chamber press VB 2190 is no longer and has been replaced by the VB 3190. Logic would want the latter to arrive in the catalog of the Farming Simulator 21 concession. Same observation for the LSB 1290 D square baler which has been replaced by the SB 1290 iD.
Rakes
The MERGE MAXX 902 belt rake is replaced by the Merge Maxx 950, we would gain a few centimeters in width (up to 9,50m). We could see a windrower coming back single-rotor type GA 4731 T (4,70m wide) but also, to change the double rotor, a 4 impellers capable of "scratching the ground" over 12,50m.
Ground work
The disc harrow Discolander XM 52 is still in the catalog, but a good width tooth tool is missing. A tine cultivator is likely to arrive Prolander 7500 (7,5m wide). In terms of disc tools, to make the competition pale a little, a new disc harrow OPTIMIZE L in 12m would be welcome. The Vari Master plow, on the other hand, kept making round trips. It could be replaced by a Vari-Manager or an Vari-Challenger in 7 or 8 bodies.
Mowers
Almost all manufacturers today display front / rear combinations for mowing. Kuhn has such tools. We could see a couple of disc mower GMD 1030 + GMD 1021F.
Mixers
The SPV Confort had made the heyday of virtual breeders. If such a self-propelled machine were to return to the catalog, logic would dictate that the new range Intense SPW is chosen. Its capacity is between 14 to 27 m3.
Spray
There has been a change since the release of Farming Simulator 19. Kuhn produced from a self-propelled spreader, the Stronger, reserved for the Brazilian market and Eastern European countries. Equipped with these ramps, it sprays up to 40m wide. Enough to shade the Hardi RUBICON 9000 already in place. The sprayers already present in Farming Simulator 19 could be kept.
New feature revealed for upcoming Farming Simulator
Kuhn is also illustrated in a category of equipment that could take off in Farming Simulator 21: landscaping and road maintenance. After all, farmers are often equipped and called upon for these tasks. The pack Energreen by SMI Modding has also made a real card, as long as it is used on a compatible map. As a reminder, it allows you to clear brush and trim hedges. In the same vein, Kuhn could offer his spearhead, the Pro-Longer GII which can deploy an arm up to 7,40m, even if a 5683 LP and its 5,60m would be more than enough.
From a reliable source, Giants Software could offer this possibility to players of the next FS. If this is the case, Kuhn has all the tools to respond to road maintenance work.
To conclude, we see the potential of a manufacturer like Kuhn, who is able to offer twenty items of equipment without worry on Farming Simulator. Do you think that's a lot? So keep an eye out for these references when the next FS is released. If all are not present, then it's a safe bet that one Kuhn Equipment DLC for Farming Simulator 22 point the tip of his nose.
