The October Mod Creator Awards are here. 2 maps and 3 vehicles were awarded by the developers, the Mod.io platform and Focus Entertainment. There is good and… there is less good.
We start with vehicles with a pack of 2 Wolf trucks, a short and a long. They are over-equipped, whether for accessories or wheel and engine configurations. Everything is there, which allows you to take your Wolf on any map, in any environment. Tested in the mud with oversized tubes, only very deep rivers got the better of this monster. Be careful however with consumption, just as muscular as the engine.
The other 2 vehicles are two 4 × 4 cars. The first one, the Boyaco, is a replica of a military vehicle. Too cheated to be true, its powerful engine and equipment allow you to climb almost any surface. The engine makes almost no noise. So much so that we could imagine ourselves in an electric car.
The second, la Michio MJ410 'Ronin', is a replica of the Suzuki 4 × 4. It is modeled very well and has a whole bunch of options. He is a sure bet as a Scout. But beware, its behavior is close to the original vehicles and do not expect to go everywhere with it. Its strong point is undoubtedly its weak appetite, avoiding you to go to the garage or to the gas station too often.
On the side of maps, we discover the environment White silence. Rare thing to be underlined, it consists of 2 maps, one oriented snow, the other mud and great sun. Despite this positive point, this SnowRunner map is too difficult, almost impractical, with the vehicle offered at the start. And the absence of at least one garage will quickly plummet the morale of the player who will seek to overcome the fifty missions displayed. It may be necessary to move towards the multiplayer mode for more comfort.
Finally the last map, Rutland Single Map, offers players a Sunday walk. Beautiful sets, that's why she was rewarded, but little difficulty and missions. We move in the mud and the global environment reminds us of MudRunner.
