Lumberjack Simulator is not dead. Remember that behind this title which goes slowly but surely, there is only one developer. The last update was in January. We hadn't talked about it, it made some corrections, improved physics, performance, and reviewed the tutorial system when starting the game. The July update is more interesting for the player since it's new gear, and so new gameplay that makes its entrance.
PCs are leveling up with consoles, which have received these new gear before. You now have a new large chipper, a chip trailer, and a box truck to transport the chips. A new level for the challenging career mode is also in the game. The update is also an opportunity to bring support for the user interface of high resolution screens, and to (further) improve performance.
Remember that the game is available on Steam for under 15 euros, and on PS4/PS5, Xbox One and Xbox Series consoles for around 25 euros. Even if on the production side, it's a bit light, the developer has considerably improved the game since its release and should continue to develop it. Fans of forestry work will undoubtedly find what they are looking for.
