The trailer Farming Simulator 22 ingame is finally here for Gamescom. We finally discover the French map, called Haut Beyleron, and above all a material and a functionality that I no longer expected: the collection of stones! Giants Software has also sent us additional videos (B-roll) that we will discover and analyze in this video.
What to think of this trailer. If the craze was there for the arrival of the French map and the vine, it quickly fell. We will desperately look for a 9RX in the narrow alleys of the small villages of the Hérault for example. Inconceivable! But it is especially on the general aesthetics that Giants Software has not succeeded, for my byt, to trigger the spark. The colors seem too bright, the vegetation lacks relief, and the graphics settings seem to be set to "Low" as the shadows are missing.
Fortunately we are making up for the surprise feature that is the collection of stones, even if we do not yet know its impact and cycle. Theoretically, they should appear during the passage of the sub-lifter or the plow. It remains to be seen whether Giants Software still has a few strings to its bow before the game's release, or if the developer is focusing on an unprecedented list of hardware.
To refresh your memory, This is what the Farming Simulator 19 trailer looked like at Gamescom...
The Farming Simulator 22 Season Pass: with or without the game
Giants Software has also revealed its offer for the Season Pass for FS 22. Two options: buy the game with the season pass includes for € 77,98 or opt for the pass alone for € 37,99. For these prices, you can count on new vehicles and at least one new map, the whole being spread over the year at the rate of one DLC per quarter (season).
