Much awaited by the gaming community, would the successor of Spintires MudRunner struggle to find its commercial name? Spintires MudRunner has recently been renamed to single “MudRunner”, to make way for the arrival of MudRunner 2. But yesterday, Focus Home Interactive announced on its forum and on the franchise's Facebook page, the arrival of… . SnowRunner, which is none other than the (well-found) name of MudRunner 2.
We had, early May, take stock on this promising track which incorporates a snowy environment. It is ultimately on the latter that the game is based to differentiate itself from previous games. The general gameplay takes the principle of transport at risk, but seems to change somewhat since it will be possible to transport things other than logs. The first screenshots also show that the American equipment is coming in force, since we do not see any of the big Russian trucks that had made the reputation of the original game. The members of Saber Interactive, in charge of development, told us some time ago that they wanted to get closer to US players.
We can already confirm that SnowRunner will support mods on PC at launch, as well as a multiplayer mode.
