SCS Software, in charge of the development of ETS 2, unveils some screens and info on the next DLC “Road to the Black Sea” to come later this year. Here is a translation:
Across most of Europe, you will find that a majority of countries share open interstate borders under the Schengen Agreement. This allows for free movement of people and easier movement of goods between nations, making long-haul journeys a bit easier; However, Hungary's entry into the Balkan region in Romania is much stricter.
After our first border crossings outside the EU's Schengen zone beyond the Baltic Sea, our teams have made improvements in order to create a more efficient border for our players.
In our next map expansion you will find two border crossings between Hungary and Romania, three between Romania and Bulgaria and two of the most important and complex crossings between Bulgaria and Turkey.
These borders represent our first implementation to create a more realistic border experience, which was created with unique assets and new procedures.
We look forward to sharing more information about this upcoming map expansion. Don't forget to put your truck in order before crossing the border ... Papers Please!
