No it has not fallen into oblivion and the development of this game, which we did not think serious, is progressing in leaps and bounds. Ranch Simulator is preparing to welcome the June Update (even if the final version will be released in July) which, we must admit, piques our curiosity.
And this update overhauls much of the gameplay so that the title "Ranch Simulator" is no longer synonymous with "Total Carnage". Because, during our multiplayer sessions, we quickly made the rounds of the part breeding and construction of buildings, and the parts very often ended in GTA more than in Farming Simulator. This is also the reason why this game was not on Univers-simu.com: its lack of seriousness.
But that time is over. The developers are now leaving the field open to players, who can build and expand their ranch with chicken coops and other fences wherever they want. The houses, part of which are assembled in “prefabricated” mode, can now be installed in “free” mode from the foundations to the roof.
You can also do the paintings. A hardware store has been added to provide you with materials, like wood planks, concrete, metal rebar, lawn mowers, trailers, paint and more.
The map has been optimized and new decorations adorn it. The rendering was already pleasant, the Unreal Engine is doing wonders here. On the breeding side, the developers have added the sows, which can mate with males to give birth to piglets. Piglets will also depend on their mothers for food as they grow.
Several beta versions of this June Update will follow until June 30, before delivering a final version on July 15.
And if you really don't know what the gameplay of this indie game looks like, we already have a few hours of multiplayer content for you:
