It is on a video of a few minutes on the channel of its publisher Focus Home Interactive that Saber Interactive unveils the content of the Season Pass and the Premium Edition of SnowRunner. On the program, 4 extensions spread over one year.
Saber Interactive has just unveiled 3 of the 4 phases that make up the SnowRunner Season Pass. Each phase corresponds to a DLC comprising a new environment, new vehicles, skins, and new missions.
Phase 1: Russia
This first extension, which should see the light of day a few weeks after the release on April 28, poses a snowy environment in Russia, where you will need, with your new vehicles, to unearth wrecks from the Second World War. We don't know what to do with it (delivery to a collector? Museum?).
Phase 2: Canada
Here we stay in a snowy environment, or partially snowy. Here you are in the shoes of a site manager, with the mission of constructing a building. But it won't grow without materials, and you'll have to route whatever it takes to see the building build before your eyes. Once again, the DLC comes with vehicles and skins, but also "new modding possibilities" without knowing what it is.
Phase 3: Wisconsin
Direction the USA, with a homecoming: mud and logs <3 The environment is well known to old players and will delight newcomers who will be able to discover what made the strength of MudRunner and his big brother Spintires . The new game engine visually gives us a good slap if we compare with the previous version of the game from Saber Interactive. Once is not custom, the DLC adorns SnowRunner with new vehicles, and new skins.
And after?
The content of phase 4 has not yet been released. There is time, we are talking about a DLC that may be released in 2021. Note that each phase will be accompanied by a free extension bringing some vehicles, skins, and missions, but no environment. At least, nothing is mentioned in the presentation trailer. Either way, there are only a few days left to be fixed. Meet on April 28 on PC, PS4 and XBOX ONE.
