EDIT OF APRIL 2, 2019
It is time to restore the truth. This article is of course a huge April Fool's Day 😀 You fell into the trap, know that this is the only day when we allow ourselves this kind of slippage. The rest of the articles on the site could not be more serious. But what will we be able to prepare for you next year?
It's about to be official! Faced with the enthusiasm of Farming Simulator players for Public Works (TP), Giants Software pushed the doors of the development studio Weltenbauer with the support of the publisher Astragon which publishes the 2 games in Germany, in order to conclude a agreement on the assignment of rights to Construction Simulator.
The fruit of this union will be none other than the next official Farming Simulator 19 DLC: a hardware-oriented TP pack that should satisfy several million players.
John Deere license in place
First certainty, Giants Software would work very closely with the manufacturer John Deere to include a wider range of crawler tractors, including the 8730 RT and the imposing 9620 RX, articulated monster with 4 tracks. Manitou, already under license, is no exception, and will offer the 2700V compact wheel loaders and 3200VT crawler loaders.
But the most anticipated constructor in public works is undoubtedly the Swiss / German Liebherr, whose large earthmoving machines will complete the meager catalog available. We are already talking about the R914 and R926 Compact Litronic crawler excavators.
A specific gameplay and map
A priori, the TP part will be played on a new card from which no information could escape. The 3 official maps (Ravenport, Fellsbrunn and Estancia Lapacho) will be updated to take advantage of the new features, in particular the possibility of digging the ground. The purpose of this DLC will be to carry out predefined missions on road works. Here, no construction of buildings strictly speaking, only layout to "place" placeable buildings available in a new tab in the shop.
No release date has yet been communicated, we are talking about a second semester at the earliest. See you soon for more information on this future extension.
Astragon also publishes Fishing Barents Sea. It could also be that the latter also sees the arrival of a new DLC soon, with a new species of fish to catch.
